MSDOS/Win9x/ME Extended Partition Bug

MS DOS operating system through Win9x/ME have a bug where if the last volume in a recognized extended partition is not a recognized FAT or FAT32 type partition and multiple visible (FAT/FAT32) primary partitions exist, then it will mount that last volume as a FAT volume in place of the next primary partition.  It will think the size of the volume it is mounting is that of the primary partition it should be mounting.  In other words, it can cause problems/confusion.  Note: This only applies to partitions that are in the MBR at boot time.
