How to Search the Knowledge Base

The default search will return any articles that contain any of the words you enter.

For example, searching boot menu will return all articles that contain boot or menu.

To maximize your search results, please note the following operators:

• + A leading plus sign indicates that the word must be present.
  For example, search +boot +menu will return all articles that contain both boot and menu.
  
• - A leading minus sign indicates that this word must not be present.
  For example, search boot -menu will return all articles that contain boot but not menu.
  
• * An asterisk is a wildcard operator.
  For example, search boot* will return all articles that contain words that start with boot such as bootable, booting, etc..
  
• " A search term in quotes will match on the entire phrase.
  For example, search "boot menu" will return all articles that contain the phrase boot menu.
