A bootable DOS diskette can be used to run Image for DOS. To create a bootable DOS diskette under Windows XP, follow these simple instructions:
- Insert a floppy diskette. (Note: Make sure the floppy you insert does not contain any data you need, as the disk will be wiped clean in later steps.)
- Double-click the My Computer icon on your Desktop or click the Start button and then My Computer. Find your 3½ Floppy (A:) drive in the My Computer window.
- Right-click the 3½ Floppy (A:) drive in the My Computer window and select Format....
- In the Format 3½ Floppy (A:) window, select the Create an MS-DOS startup disk option.
- Click Start.
If any errors occur during formatting, try another floppy disk.
