Creating a Bootable CD or DVD Disc with Image for Windows

As long as the required files are in the same directory as IMAGEW.EXE, an independent bootable CD or DVD will be created when burning directly to a CD or DVD drive.

You can select Image for DOS, Image for Linux, or a Custom bootable file for the CD/DVD media (this option is in the Image for Windows settings). Using Image for DOS requires cdboot.ifd and cdboot.f35. Using Image for Linux requires cdboot.ifl and the cdboot folder (for v3, these files are included with the Image for Windows installer; for v2, these are installed when you run the ifw_ifl_cdboot_en.exe program).

Note: CDBOOT.F35 is automatically converted to a full-use version as soon as your registration information is entered successfully.
